The rider names a ceiling, drivers bid the fare down, and the rider flips to the best bid or lets Auto-Flip choose, after which a start code, live map and an open fare-split receipt follow. It is built with Next.js 16 (App Router, React 19), TypeScript, Prisma 7, PostgreSQL 17, Tailwind CSS 4, Leaflet maps and Docker Compose with a one-time migrate and seed step. Students learn real-time auction mechanics, geospatial UI with Leaflet, session handling with cookies and a transparent fare-split model.
