Donations become zero-interest grants to people building a livelihood, a dignity-first recovery engine collects repayments and returns them to the donors, and the headline return is shown honestly (for example 118% instead of 125%) until sponsor money for the bonus is received. It is built with FastAPI, PostgreSQL 16, SQLAlchemy 2, Alembic, a vanilla JavaScript front end with Chart.js and Docker Compose, with simulated payments and SMS. Students learn ledger-based accounting with a Ponzi-guard invariant, Alembic migrations, a solvency simulator and honest financial-product design.
