The system enrols people from the webcam or from photos, detects faces with the YuNet model and recognises them with the SFace model, then logs each person once per day to a SQLite database after several confirming frames. It uses OpenCV and NumPy only, so there is no dlib or face_recognition build step, and it ships daily reports with CSV export plus an automated test suite. Students learn how face detection and embedding comparison work, how to tune a similarity threshold, and how to build a safe CLI around a local database.
